The C.M. Russell Museum and The Nature Conservancy are partnering to bring an evening of conversation about art and the natural world Thursday, February 23, 2017. Nature’s Canvas: An Evening with The Nature Conservancy and The C.M. Russell Museum will begin at 7 p.m. with Assistant Curator, Emily Wilson discussing Charlie Russell’s view on the land as it relates to the museum’s Wildlife Art Initiative. Next, Montana State Director of The Nature Conservancy, Richard Jeo, will speak on “The Future of Montana in the Age of Humans: The Value of Beauty and the Wealth of Nature.”
After the lecture guests can join a guided tour of The Russell Exhibition and Sale led by Senior Art Coordinator, Duane Braaten.
