Energize your western spirit at The Russell Reignited – a fresh approach to our prestigious western art experience. Inspired by the one-and-only artist and storyteller Charlie Russell, the reimagined event will include happenings for all ages and any who love art and the western lifestyle. Join us in Great Falls, Montana, for the premiere fundraising event of the C.M. Russell Museum. Glimpse into the past, experience today’s artistic expressions of the West, and join in the future of Charlie’s western art legacy.

FREE ADMISSION

Explore the galleries of the C.M. Russell Museum including the original Russell house and studio. The artwork to be sold at The Russell Reignited will also be on display through Thursday.

10 am to 5 pm

 

Visit with some of the most admired and accomplished western artists of our time at the Artist Suites at The Russell. Free and open to all, witness the West through canvas, bronze, woodworking, metal, and more at over 100 miniature galleries set up by artists. Enjoy this opportunity to take home your first piece of original fine art, add to your collection, or just relish in world-class artworks alongside the artists who created them.

Gather with friends old and new at the Art Preview Party, where you can view the artwork to be sold at First Strike and The Russell one final time. Mingle with many of the artists and join in the building excitement of the coming events as you take in the finest artworks. 

 

ART IN ACTION

Glimpse into the mind and talent of revered artists at Art in Action. Guests watch as artists finish their works in this exciting variation of a traditional “quick draw”, have the opportunity to visit and interact, as well as enjoy brunch and live music at this action packed event. The event culminates in a live auction with 100% of the proceeds donated to the museum by the participating artists.

First Strike Friday Night Auction focuses solely on the works of contemporary artists. Experienced collectors and burgeoning bidders alike will have the opportunity to compete in a casual, entertaining atmosphere full of music, food, and fun. 

THE RUSSELL EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIUM

The Russell Education Symposium is an opportunity to expand your knowledge on the American West. Presented by Dr. Mark Sublette, the seminar is free and open to the public and will discuss the life and art of Maynard Dixon.
