Charles M. Russell (1864-1926), Greeting, 1926

Rotating seasonally, the exhibition Greetings from Charlie and Bull Head Lodge takes a closer look at the illustrated letters within the C.M. Russell Museum’s permanent collection and works inspired by Bull Head Lodge and Russell’s time in Glacier National Park. Viewers can see an array of works like holiday greetings, letters describing Russell’s childhood, landscapes of Glacier National Park, and whimsical gnomes. Through his words and art, this exhibition allows viewers a special insight into the things that inspired Charlie Russell to become the cowboy artist.
