Pendleton Grateful Nation Mug

The Grateful Nation pattern was designed to honor the brave men and women who have defended freedom throughout America’s history. Each of the colorful stripes represents an authentic service ribbon awarded to veterans of America’s military conflicts. The stripes are placed chronologically, beginning with service ribbons from World War II Pacific Theater, World War II European Theater, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, and War on Terrorism.

Centered on the mug is a representation of the stars and stripes of the American flag, interpreted as a service ribbon. A total of 56 stars represent the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the five US territories. The reverse side is dramatic red, white and blue, an overall, abstract interpretation of Old Glory. This unique design is an inspiration for the young soldier, a tribute to the veteran and a symbol of American national pride.
