• Your bidding on items indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in these bidding procedures.
  • Bidders need not be present to participate.
  • All pieces of art are offered “as is.”
  • The museum reserves the right to reject a bid.
  • Bidding ends at 4 pm (MDT) on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
  • The purchase price shall be the sum of the winning bid plus a buyer’s premium of 12% of the winning bid. An additional 3.63% fee of the total purchase price will be added for credit card purchases.
  • Terms of purchase will be cash, check, cashier’s check, or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express).
  • At the conclusion of the auction, winning bidders will be sent check-out information. Bidders can complete their purchase with a credit card on the bidding platform or email knichols@cmrussell.org to arrange another payment. Winning bidders have until 5 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, to arrange payment or the credit card on file will be charged.
  • All sales are final, and there will be no exchanges or refunds on art pieces.
  • Successful bidders must take custody or arrange for shipping of their purchases (at the bidder’s expense) with museum staff by 5 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
  • The C.M. Russell Museum is an agent for the owner of the art pieces. The museum assumes no risk, liability, or responsibility for the authenticity or the authorship of any art pieces.
  • The museum reserves the right to withdraw any art piece at any time before the sale.
