On October 9–10, 2026, Great Falls will come together to celebrate 100 years of Charlie Russell’s enduring legacy.
Charlie Russell’s Legacy: Celebrating 100 years is a once-in-a-generation celebration honoring the artist who captured the spirit, humor, people, and stories of the American West like no one else. Hosted by the C.M. Russell Museum, this special weekend invites our community and visitors from across the region to experience the West through art, storytelling, history, and family fun.
From a special concert featuring Reggie Watts to an unforgettable evening in collaboration with the Great Falls Symphony, the weekend will be filled with music, inspiring speakers, cowboy poets, Traditional Games, hands-on crafts for kids, food, and moments that bring people together.
But at its heart, this celebration is about something bigger: the remarkable legacy Charlie Russell left behind and the way his work continues to connect us to the people, places, stores, and spirit of the West.
