The Western Types Series

Charlie Russell produced a set of sixteen Western types featuring the typical frontier characters.  These pen and ink drawings were produced soon after the turn of the century, with the first known publication of the completed set by the Great Falls Leader in early 1909. Due to the authenticity and graphic clarity of the drawings, this set is one of the most frequently reproduced Russell subjects.
