In the early to mid-1980s Ginger Renner wrote an article entitled “Charlie Russell and the Ladies in his Life” which was published by the Montana Magazine of Western History in 1984. In 2018, the C.M. Russell Museum is organizing a new exhibition to celebrate and explore this subject. The 2018 C.M. Russell Museum calendar is dedicated to the memory of Ginger Renner.
