The workshop was open to kids, teens, and adults, and all materials were provided.Color Your Weekend: Watercolor WorkshopArtist Susan Supola led a four-week Saturday watercolor series for beginners and experienced painters alike. Using a 19th-century process, each image was created on a metal plate, exposed in-camera, and developed on-site, resulting in a finished photograph within minutes that could not be duplicated. This program was designed as an intimate, educational observation experience rather than a hands-on class. Participants selected a one-hour time slot in a small group setting, where they watched Chris move through the full process, from preparing the plate to developing the final image, while explaining the craft, chemistry, and artistic decisions behind each portrait. Each participant left with their own finished tintype portrait. No experience was necessary, and all materials were provided.
