2015 Art in Action® ParticipantsRandy Van Beek has been a full-time artist since 1980. His styles range from traditional realism to Impressionism. Van Beek is self-taught but is influenced by his studies of the nineteenth-century American, Dutch, and Austrian masters. He has received awards from The National Geographic Society, the Smithsonian Institute, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, John Clymer Museum, and the Blackfoot Valley Art Auction. His most recent honor was induction into the Russell Skull Society of Artists.Rachel Warner is a fifth-generation Montanan who grew up on a cattle ranch near Whitefish. She studied art in northern Italy and receivedher bachelor of fine arts degree at Montana State University in Billings. After college, Warner was strongly influenced by tonalist landscape painting through her friendshipwith Russell Chatham.
