An exciting variation of a traditional “quick draw,” this event gives nationally known artists several hours to finish a piece of art while interacting with guests. The event culminates in a live auction of the completed works of art, with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to the museum by the participating artists.

Myth is the Mother of Romance: A Discussion with Montana Poets
A panel of Montana poets will share selected works from their own collections and discuss poems by Charles Russell. The discussion will be facilitated by Robert Stubblefield, Lecturer in the English Department at the University of Montana. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in the conversation with the panelists.
