Meredith Lockhart has been designing and making her western inspired oneofakind Art to Wear fashions and accessories for over thirty years. Along the way, it was natural to add handmade jewelry as her father was a jeweler. Her company, Meredith Lockhart Collections, has a team of talented artists that she collaborates with on many of her pieces. Buckskin and luscious suedes are the favorite “material” to work with as they are so versatile. Most of the fashions and accessories are hand painted and/or embroidered with original designs. The majority of all the beautifully handcrafted pieces by MLC are created in the beautiful farming country of North East Kansas at the family farm.
