Welcome to e Russell !
We’re pleased you’ve joined us for another exciting year of celebrating
Western art and artists and supporting the C.M. Russell Museum.
For 47 years, e Russell: An Exhibition and Sale to Bene t the C.M. Russell Museum has attracted thousands of visitors to its month-long exhibition
and three-day event held around Charles Marion Russell’s birthday on March 19. It has become one of the leading Western art auctions in the world.
Your attendance at this year’s event goes a long way in helping the museum accomplish its goals and remain one of the world’s most important Western art museums.
For those who are adding to their personal collections and those who are here for the pure joy of all things Western, we sincerely appreciate your enthusiastic support.
Every year, the C.M. Russell Museum must raise well
over $2 million to cover operating expenses and thus remain relevant to our community and our country. For every dollar we raise through e Russell Exhibition and Sale, the museum must raise another two dollars to continue its work.
Your support through e Russell is very important to us, as is your support through individual donations. Whether you are bidding on art or celebrating the West, we hope you will consider becoming a partner with us through your generous donations to and ongoing support of our mission.
Pepsi Cola of Great Falls is proud to share the splendor of Western art with the community and region during Pepsi Free Admission Week, March 12–19, 2017. All auction art for the First Strike Friday Night Live Auction and e Russell Live Auction will be on exhibit beginning February 17th.
e mission of the C.M. Russell Museum is to collect, preserve, research, interpret, and educate on the art and life of Charles M. Russell; the art and lives of his contemporaries; and the art of preceding and ensuing generations that depicts and focuses on the culture, life, and country of Russell’s West.
