STEVEN L. ROSE 1924–2016
As former chairman of the C.M. Russell Museum National Advisory Board, Steve founded the Charlie Russell Riders, a prestigious philanthropic group of men who shared a love of
the spirit of the West and the art of Charlie Russell. Since its formation, the group has continued to contribute funds and artwork to the C.M. Russell Museum while raising awareness and involvement in the museum on a national level. Following Steve’s vision, the Charlie Russell Riders recently contributed the funds and sculpture for the creation of the Sculpture Garden on the east lawn of the museum. In 2009, Steve Rose was honored with the Josephine Trigg Award, the highest award presented by the C.M. Russell Museum.
