He has studied and been in uenced by techniques of the nineteenth century classical realists’ styles, which are evident in the Old World feel his wildlife paintings take on. He was the 2009 recipient of the C.M. Russell Museum Auction’s “Ralph ‘Tu y’ Berg Award.” He was a nalist in the Art Renewal Center’s 2011 and 2014 International Salon and has received numerous additional best of show and people’s choice awards.Jerry McKellar is a bronze sculptor and Russell Skull Society charter member. His awards from C.M. Russell shows include the 2006 CEO Award; 2010, 2009, 2006, 2005, and 1997 People’s Choice Best Sculpture; and the 1997 Artists’ Choice Award. His sculptures have been purchased for the permanent collectionsof museums, corporations, and communities. His work is noted for strong composition, power, and movement, and ranges in size from miniature to monumental.Caleb Meyer received a degreein art education from Boise State University in 2006. Meyer taught high school art for three years while establishing himself as a professional artist. In 2011, Meyer was featured as in Southwest Art’s “21 under 31.” Meyer now paints full time and has recently moved with his wife and three children to the Bitterroot Valley in western Montana.Robert Moore was born in Burley, Idaho, in 1957 near the Snake River. Amid the wide- open plains bounded by rugged mountains, his appreciationfor nature was sparked. His practical background and belief in discipline led him to earn a full scholarship and graduate with honors at Art Center College of Design. Moore makes his home on a farm in southern Idaho with his wife Rebecca and their six children.H. Steven Oiestad was born and raised on a ranch near Big Timber, Montana, and spent his childhood years studying and sketching the animals in his environment. He moved to Great Falls in the late 1980s, where his passion for artwas once again renewed, thanks to an incredible group of artists who reside in the area. Working from his home and studio in the beautiful Sun River Valley, not far from Great Falls, Oiestad mainly concentrates on the cowboy and landscapes of present-day America.Chad Poppleton, a resident of Cache Valley, Utah, has been interested in art ever since he can remember. His interest began while he was on the farm and ranch with his grandfather, working with the animals and understanding their attitudes and behaviors. Poppleton’s father, also an artist, taught him how to draw and to look at things through an artist’s eye. His work is represented in the most prestigious galleries and shows across the U.S. and has been pro led in all leading art publications.
