Support The Museum

MuseumAs a privately funded organization, the C.M. Russell Museum relies on critical private support to maintain, present and interpret the life and art of Charles M. Russell. We strive to appeal to local, regional and national audiences, to provide educational programs and activities for children and adults, and to bring excellent temporary exhibitions to the Museum on a regular basis.

The current operational budget of approximately $1.7 million is supported primarily through admissions, memberships, annual general support from individuals and foundations, revenues from the Museum gift shop and income from the Museum’s investments. Less than 1% of the Museum’s operational revenues come from governmental sources. Your contribution allows the Museum to continue to bring the art, life and history of Charlie Russell and other outstanding artists of the American West to thousands of people from Montana and throughout America.

Please consider contributing to the Museum through an annual gift, a membership in the Museum, or through your estate plan. The C.M. Russell Museum is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your gifts are deductible within IRS regulations.
