Charles M. Russell knew he was preserving the West with his art, a West he saw fading away. He recorded the unspoiled Montana landscape he knew so well with remarkable honesty and profound wonder. He left us with a legacy of memorable art and a renewed appreciation for the West. At the C.M. Russell Museum, we work diligently to continue Charlie’s work of preserving the essence of the West through art classes for children and adults, and public programs such as Saddles & Spurs, the Holiday Open House, and free admission days. We work daily to ensure that all people can experience Russell’s West.
Donate today to the C.M. Russell Museum and help us continue to preserve Charles M. Russell’s legacy and the essence of the West through our collections, arts education, and world-class exhibitions.
