Art That Moves Us
Ages 6-7; 10:30 a.m. to noon, $12
Students will discover the connections between music, art, and movement in Art that Moves us. Popular tunes and classical music that move our hands and feet will inspire students to create art while learning about primary colors in this class.
When time permits, we will explore the museum collections and in particular the special traveling exhibition Romance Maker: The Watercolors of Charles M. Russell for ideas and inspiration. Classes provide students with an opportunity to explore various art techniques ranging from drawing and painting to printmaking and sculpting. Class size is limited to 12 students. All the supplies for each class are included in the cost. A snack will be provided for classes lasting longer than 2 hours. Scholarships are available on a limited basis.
Registration is required. For information or to register, contact Kim Kapalka, Education and Program Coordinator at (406) 727-8787, extension 347.
